Portage County Combined General Health District (PCHD) does not have mandatory real estate transfer septic system inspection requirement, but offers voluntary real estate transfer septic inspection as fee for service program. Nonetheless, PCHD highly recommend septic and private water systems inspection before real estate transfer.
How do I submit my documents and payment?
- Email the application(s) to Julie and Maria at PCHD@portagehealth.net.
- Payments can be made in person via cash, credit, or check. You can also call Julie or Maria at 330-296-9919 ext. 108 or 130, or by selecting the “finance” option when prompted to pay by credit card over the phone. *Please call after you have received a notice of receipt from an account clerk.
- Documents can also be submitted with payment by mail to 999 East Main St. Ravenna, OH 44266.
